All international students from non-European countries are eligible for University of Malta Scholarships. Applicants can pursue a Master’s degree by research and a full-time or part-time PhD degree from European countries. Professional doctorates and MBA programs are not eligible for this scholarship. This award is available for the academic year 2026.

Nearly all academic subjects and majors are available at the University of Malta. Scholarships cover 40 to 100% of selected students’ tuition fees, depending on their merit criteria.
