Eligibility Criteria
- Foreign students from any country are invited to apply.
- You have to get a Ph.D. Have been offered a place at. research program
- You will be assessed as International/Foreign for fee purposes and will be fully or partially self-funded.
- You intend to register to commence your studies in the 2024/25 academic year.
- Applicants must have already been offered a PhD place. Research programs before applying.
- Applicants must apply for the course based at our Newcastle campus.
Value of Award
This award covers the difference between domestic and overseas tuition rates (approximately £12,900 to £19,300 per year).

How to Apply?
- Candidates must be enrolled in Ph.D. Once registered for Newcastle University courses, students can complete the NUORS online application form.
- Supporting Documents: To apply for this programme, students must also provide details of an academic referee.
- Candidates must have master’s degree.
- Applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent, but requirements may vary between 6.0 and 8.0 IELTS.
