Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Admission: Must be eligible for an English-taught Master’s program at TU Wien

  • Eligible Master’s Programs:

    • Logic and Computation

    • Data Science

    • Business Informatics

    • Computer Engineering

    • Media and Human-Centered Computing

    • Software Engineering and Internet Computing

  • Academic Qualification: A BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field is required.

  • Research Interest: Demonstrated interest or academic background in one or more of the following areas:

    • Logic in Computer Science

    • Formal Methods and Verification

    • Theoretical Foundations of AI

    • Algorithmic Complexity

    • Information Security

  • Language Proficiency: English proficiency certificate (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS)


What the Scholarship Offers

  • Tuition Waiver: Complete exemption from tuition and all associated university fees.

  • Annual Allowance: €7,000 per year for the two-year duration of the Master’s program
