Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants are eligible, whether they are Canadian domestic or international students.
- High school or applicants through an articulation agreement are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must submit an official transcript and a financial need application in addition to the application for admission to be considered for the scholarship.
- Applicants must have good results in High School Certificate.
- The average score will be determined by the University of Cape Breton.
- Applicants can also do a statement agreeing to be eligible.

If the applicant’s academic results are too high, he/she may have a large number of scholarships, low academic results may lead to fewer scholarships.

Chancellor’s Scholarship:
The annual amount of the Chancellor’s Scholarship is $7,500 and a total of $30,000 is awarded during the course.
President’s Scholarship:
The Presidential Scholarship is $5,000 annually and is awarded for a total of $20,000 during the course of study.
Dean’s Scholarship:
The annual amount for the Dean’s is $2,500 and a total of $10,000 is awarded during the course.
Fitzgerald’s Scholarship:
The annual amount of Fitzgerald’s Scholarship is $5,000 and a total of $20,000 is rewarded throughout the whole duration of the study
Schwartz’s Scholarship:
Schwartz has an annual scholarship amount of $3,500 and is awarded a total of $14,000 during his studies.
W.M. Reid’s Scholarship:
The annual W.M. Reid’s Scholarship is $2,500 to $4,000 for a total of $11,500 awarded during the study.
Orpha Thayer-Scott’s Scholarship:
The annual Orpha Thayer-Scott’s Scholarship is $2,500 and a total of $10,000 is awarded over the course of the course.
