- Students are eligible to apply whether they are Canadian local or worldwide students.
- Eligibility extends to high school graduates as well as those applying through an articulation agreement.
- Strong academic performance in the High School Certificate is required, and the average score will be assessed by Cape Breton University.
- Additionally, applicants may provide a written statement confirming their eligibility.

The PS offers an annual award of \$5,000, amounting to a total of $20,000 over the course of the program.
Dean’s Scholarship:
The Dean’s Scholarship awards $2,500 per year, with a total value of \$10,000 over the duration of the program.
Fitzgerald’s Scholarship:
The annual amount of Fitzgerald’s Scholarship is $5,000 and a total of $20,000 is rewarded throughout the whole duration of the study
Schwartz’s Scholarship:
The Schwartz Scholarship provides an annual award of \$3,500, totaling \$14,000 over the course of the student’s studies.
W.M. Reid’s Scholarship:
The W.M. Reid Scholarship offers an annual award ranging from $2,500 to $4,000, with a total of $11,500 granted over the duration of the program.
Orpha Thayer-Scott’s Scholarship:
