Sanger Prize Competition 2026 for International Students:
Applicants are open to apply for the Sanger Prize Competition 2026 in the UK. All international students are eligible to apply. The Sanger Foundation will cover all expenses, including travel, visas, accommodation, and subsidized meals.
Applicants from low- and middle-income countries are invited to participate in this international advertising competition. The winner of the Sanger Prize competition will receive a three-month, fully funded internship at the Wellcome Sanger Institute in Cambridge, England. No official English language test results are required, and there is no application fee. An essay competition will determine the winner.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have completed or are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a low- or middle-income country (eligible countries are listed below).
- At the time of initial application, applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a field related to genomics (e.g., life sciences, bioinformatics, medicine, or veterinary science).
- Applicants who have completed their degree but are awaiting graduation are eligible.
- Language Proficiency: No official certification is required.
- Candidates must be over eighteen years of age at the time of application.
