Slovak Scholarships for International Students is a fully funded scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic. Financial Benefits:
Full free scholarship in Slovakia for worldwide students. This free scholarship to study abroad in Slovakia covers almost, but not all, most of the expenses such as:
- The free scholarships for worldwide students to Cover International Scholarship Holders’ Living Costs
- Food, Accommodation During their Stay

- Travel Allowance for University and PhD Students:
- distance up to 350 km – 0 €,
- distance more than 350 km, max. 2,000 km – 250 €,
- distance more than 2,000 km, max. 7,000 km – 500€,
- distance more than 7,000 km – 1 000 €.

Duration of the Scholarship:
The Slovakia Republic National Scholarship Program 2024 is a short-term funded exchange program to continue your research in Slovakia higher education institutions.
- Scholarship Duration (Students): 1 to 2 full semesters (i.e. 4 to 5 or 9 to 10 months) or 1 to 3 full quarters, if the academic year is divided into quarters (i.e. 3-4 or 6-7) OR 9 Ho to separate – ten months).
- Duration of Scholarship (PhD Students): 1 to 10 months.
- Duration of scholarship (teacher, researcher or university artist): 1 to 10 months.
Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships in goverment of Slovakia is given below:
- Worldwide Candidates from around the world are eligible.
- University students at universities outside Slovakia.
- Note that this Slovakia full scholarship for international students is not a full-time scholarship for full undergraduate programs, master programs or PhD scholarship.
- This is not a full undergraduate scholarship, master’s scholarship, or doctoral degree scholarship.
- Are students who are in their second year of higher education (Master’s students) or students who have completed at least 2.5 years of university studies in the same study program at the time of the application deadline.
